Purpose:

I understand that Walk With Me MO “WWMM”, for short, provides one-on-one walking companionship in public spaces. It is NOT counseling, therapy, medical treatment or a dating service.

Personal Responsibility.

I understand that walking involves physical activity that can at times be demanding or rigorous. I agree to walk at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for me, and I will inform my walking companion of any medical, physical or mobility concerns before beginning each session.

Safety & Environment

All walks take place in public areas mutually agreed upon by both parties. I understand that WWMM and its companions are not responsible for conditions such as uneven sidewalks, curbs, trails, weather or other environmental factors beyond their control.

Liability Release

I understand that walking carries certain risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls or other accidents that may result in injury or discomfort. By choosing to participate, I accept full responsibility for my own safety and physical condition. In consideration of participating, I release WWMM “Walk With Me Missouri” Walk With Me Mo”, Its owner(s), employee's, contractors, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising from my participation, including injury, illness, or loss of property, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional harm.

Boundaries & Conduct

WWMM is a professional, faith based companion walking service. Conversations may include general life topics-personal, private, or reflective-and will be treated with respect and confidence. As a general rule, politics is a nonstarter and will never be discussed. God and faith may come up naturally in conversations, but we never force those conversations. If you prefer that faith topics remain off limits please let us know in advance so that we can fully respect your boundaries. Companions DO NOT provide transportation, medical care, or personal errands under any circumstances. Nor do they carry extra cash to make change, so plan ahead if paying cash.

Masks/Social Distancing

This is a touchy subject for some. I will be blunt. If you feel safe wearing a mask, do so. I will not ask any of our companions, employee's, contractors, or affiliates to wear one, that is there choice as well. If you do not agree with that, I understand. You are welcome to NOT use our services. As far as social distancing goes, we are all adults, common sense should rule the day.
