The Wilderness Christian Fund

1. The Identity

- Wilderness Christians = those who’ve lived in the “wild” — addiction, rebellion, brokenness, crime, or just long absence from God.
- Not “lifelong church” Christians, but ones who have scars, mistakes, and real-life experiences.
- Their strength = they can shepherd others back because they’ve walked the same roads.

2. The Mission

- Outreach to those “returning from the wild” — not by judgment, but by support, patience, and understanding.
- A different approach, like a spiritual 12-step program: steady, honest, real.
- Creating a network of Wilderness Christians who can walk alongside new returners without condemnation.

3. The Purpose of the Fund

- Less about charity handouts and more about mission outreach.
- Practical help + spiritual guidance. Example:
  • A support group or mentorship for those starting over.
  • Testimonies and community for those who need to see “God saved me, He can save you too.”

Overview

The Wilderness Christian Fund exists for those returning from the wild — people who’ve been out in the world, burned by sin, rebellion, addiction, or just lost in the noise of life. We’re not here to judge. We’re here to walk with you back toward Christ.

Think of it like a spiritual recovery program. Just like an alcoholic needs AA, the wild ones need a network of believers who’ve lived it, survived it, and now want to help others find freedom in Christ.

This isn’t about cramming religion into someone in a single day. It’s about patience, support, and truth. One step at a time.

The Fund is how we make it real. It provides practical help — a meal, gas money, a place to stay — and spiritual support — mentoring, prayer, and walking together in faith.

We are the Wilderness Christians. We’ve been out there. We know what it takes to come back. And we believe God is raising us up for such a time as this.

For Profit & Why

This is not a traditional church program, we are a outreach organization with strong Christian roots. We are not a nonprofit organization for one 2 simple reason's.

If you were to look into most of your nonprofit entity's that exist today, a vast majority of there funding is siphoned or misallocated with very little oversight, accountability and transparency. Second we simply do not want any governing body telling us what we can or can not do with money we collect outside of our own internal contributions. The government has enough to worry about without trying police a outreach group or a nonprofit simply because they filed that way to save on taxes. They do a poor job as its, just look at all the Mega Churches everywhere today.

So just under stand that none of your contributions are tax deductible, if that doesn’t work for you because you do not get a break on your taxes, well I will be honest with you. I think you may be doing it for the wrong reasons. That statement alone I am sure turned a lot of people off, but here is the deal. We are called as Christians to help those in need without any type of Earthly gain. You can find that in Luke 6:34-35 / Matthew 6:1-4 / Acts 20:35. I could go on but I think you get the point.

Once we have fully established this fund and on a quarterly basis thereafter starting in 2026 we will gladly provide full financial records related solely to this fund. Something we do not legally need to do. That’s how transparent we will be.
